Patanjali may overtake Reliance: Baba Ramdev launches SIM cards!

Founded by Yogi Baba Ramdev, Patanjali has become a worldwide renowned name in the industry of daily-use products manufacturer. Patanjali began by first introducing a limited range of Ayurveda products but now is manufacturing everything.

From spices to cosmetics to even textile now, Patanjali is one of the major manufacturers of India. After entering the textile industry, Baba Ramdev is all set to enter the world of Telecom. Yes, we are not kidding, Baba Ramdev has collaborated with telecom giant BSNL for introducing Patanjali's very-own SIM cards.

At an official event, Baba Ramdev joined hands with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited for launching Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM cards. Once the plan is on full-flow, people with this card will get 10 per cent off on all Patanjali-products.

Initially, the SIM cards will be distributed only to the employees of Patanjali. However, the future plan is still not disclosed.

As per our sources, with a recharge of Rs 144, a person will be allotted unlimited calls along with free roaming and a 2 GB data pack per month. it seems like soon Baba Ramdev will take over Reliance.

Also, our sources disclosed that Samriddhi SIM cards will also include health, accidental and life insurances for the consumer. At the event, Ramdev said that BSNL is a 'Swadeshi network' whose motto is same as that of Patanjali, "the welfare of the country".

Yoga guru Ramdev said "There are five lakh counters of BSNL and from there people can soon get Patanjali swadeshi-samradhi card."

Ramdev added that along with unlimited calling, this SIM card will come along with health and life insurances worth rupees 2.5 and 5 Lakh, respectively. 

"Patanjali's plan is BSNL's best plan. In Rs 144, one can make unlimited calls from any part of the country. We are giving 2 GB data pack, 100 SMSs. The members of the Patanjali has to just show their identity and there SIM will be activated soon after some paper work," said founder of Patanjali Baba Ramdev.
