Akshay Kumar to play Mogul in Gulshan Kumar biopic

Akshay Kumar is all set to play music mogul Gulshan Kumar in a biopic titled Mogul: The Gulshan Kumar Story. The 49-year-old actor recently took to Twitter to announce the news and recall his association with the late founder of T-Series.
Now know Gulshan Kumar’s story through Akshay’s portrayal.
My association with Him began with my very first film. He was the emperor of music!,” he wrote. “Now know his story...#Mogul, The Gulshan Kumar Story,” tweeted Akshay, who made his acting debut with Saugandh in 1991. Akshay Kumar to play ‘Mogul’ in Gulshan Kumar biopic Known for helping the music industry boom in 1980s and 90s, Kumar’s music label became a name to reckon with. Unfortunately, not long after, he died in 1997. Subhash Kapoor, who directed Akshay last in Jolly LLB 2, will helm Mogul: The Gulshan Kumar Story.
