As a child, Anushka Sharma used to feel like a ragpicker because of her habit of collecting wrappers. The 28-year-old opened up about her childhood hobby while promoting Phillauri at TV show Yaar Mera Superstar. Co-star Diljit Dosanjh was also present at the session.
Wherever I would find a wrapper on the way, I would pick them.
Host Sangeeta asked the Sultan actress is it was true she used to collect chocolate wrappers. Anushka promptly explained, “Wherever I would find a wrapper on the way, I would pick them. I would pick up wrappers from the road. I think I'm a ragpicker.” Anushka used to think ‘I’m a ragpicker’ The PK star also mentioned that her mother used to hit her a lot for this reason. “I used to collect so many, I would put them inside shoe boxes and I would store them under my cupboard.” Besides, Anushka collected stamps and coins in her leisure. “I used to have a very nice stamp collection,” she shared. Anushka is currently gearing up for Phillauri where she plays ghost Shashi. The entire episode of the show will air Saturday on Zoom channel.
