Disabilities can’t overpower ‘Love’
by Deeksha Kumar, Monday, June 04, 2018
Love in itself is one of purest forms of relationships that bound people together. Love knows no boundaries and deals with a lot of challenges. According to a survey, People are open up to a relationship with people with disabilities.
Love is way too strong to be affected by disabilities
Inclov is a matchmaking platform which is designed for the people with disabilities. It conducted a survey among 30,000 people who are dealing with disabilities and health issues across300 cities in India. The survey was conducted in the age group of 18-30 years. It was then found out that 61% participants are cool about being in a relationship with people with disabilities.
People with disabilities are suggested to live isolated lives but the data doesn’t really agree with this and suggests otherwise. Marriage is the priority of people, where 50% of the people want to get married. 15% of the people are looking for friendship and 13.5% of them want to date. As per the survey, 61.5% of the people live with their families and 28.1% of them alone.
This is what the Co-Founder of the app, Shankar Srinivasan has to say: "Our core vision as a community has been to create an inclusive platform for people with disabilities to help find companionship amidst positive experiences. Through this survey, we wanted to understand them a bit deeper and help burst some popular myths and prejudices plaguing them. We plan to make this a regular endeavour and the track changes and progress so as to serve the community better."
Disabilities can never change a person who he/she really is. Support the person in his/her challenges with all your love and care. Stay tuned for more Relationship updates. Follow our Bollywood Magazine For Latest Bollywood News and Gossips.
