Emilia Clarke believes GoT is loved due to gender-balanced nudity

Portraying the fearless and powerful Daenerys Targaryen on HBO's fantasy drama TV series Game of Thrones for the past seven years, Emilia Clarke seemed be all over the show balance of male and female nudity. In an exclusive interview, Emilia revealed why she thinks that Game of Thrones is popular with both men and women, amid the industry's inequality scandal.
Game of Thrones season 8 will premiere on July 2019
Emilia claims that the show's portrayal of power struggles is what makes it so appealing to women. She reflected on why her love interest Khal Drogo was not exposed on-screen, while her character stripped fully naked.
First joking of her co-star Jason Mamoa's manhood, she said, "Oh, I did. I saw his member, but it was covered in a pink fluffy sock. Showing it would make people feel bad. It's too fabulous." Recalling another incident where she saw another of her love interests strip for the camera. "No, I don't know why. But I'd like to bring your memory back to Mr. Michiel Huisman and I copulating for the first time, which began with me saying, 'Take off your clothes', and then you got to see his perfect bottom," she added.
These comments came amid a time of unrest in Hollywood, following the emergence of the Harvey Weinstein scandal last year.
Reflecting on this, Clarke expressed her delight that so many women are fans of Game Of Thrones- which she believes is due to its gender-balanced story lines.
