by TIMC Thursday, March 09, 2017

Looks like actor Rajkumar Rao is making the most of his versatility. He recently shared that people’s expectations do not pressurize him as he loves to explore his characters.
As an actor, I love pushing myself, says Rajkumar.
I am not pressurised because of somebody's expectations in any way,” said the 32-year-old actor in a statement. “I love acting and the whole process of shooting. And I love to explore every character I play,” he expressed. This is in reference to Rajkumar’s upcoming films Trapped and Behen Hogi Teri, belonging to two starkly opposite genres. One is a survival thriller while the latter, a romantic comedy. On his approach towards the characters, the Aligarh actor said, “It depends on the script, the character. And how much it demands from me.” Expectations don’t ‘pressurise’ Rajkumar Rao He termed Behen Hogi Teri a fun film. “Once you are done, it is easy to come out from the character of a fun film,” he said. On the one hand, Rajkumar has difficulty choosing from the two. “I really can't say. Both are equally exciting. As an actor, I love pushing myself,” he replied. The Shahid star also expressed that it is a big compliment when people await his films. “It's a great position to be in,” he revealed. Talking of mainstream cinema, Rajkumar opined that it is transforming into a wonderful change. He cited examples of Bollywood superstars doing films like Dangal, Raees, and Sultan. In Trapped, Rajkumar plays a man shut in his own apartment with no escape. The Vikramaditya Motwane directed flick releases March 17.
