Nawazuddin dismisses allegations about spying on wife

by , Saturday, March 10, 2018

A lot is happening in Bollywood these days. Where one actor is caught up by a terrifying illness, another actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has found himself in the middle of a problem about spying on his wife.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui made a guest appearance in critically acclaimed film Mukkabaaz.

The actor was already under the eye of controversy after his biography was released. Much was said about his personal life. Now with his name cropping up for allegedly spying on his wife, the rumours have got some roots. However, he has dismissed these as "random allegations".

Nawazuddin  took to twitter to express his disgust about about the same. He tweeted, "Last evening, I was helping my daughter to prepare her school project Hydroelectric Power Generator and went to her school this morning for Project Exhibition. To my surprise, the media had questions about some random allegations on me. #Disgust."

The actors name cropped up after the Thane police's Crime Branch nabbed 11 persons, mainly private detectives, who were involved in the Call Detail Records (CDR) scam.

According to statements by some of the accused, Siddiqui had allegedly acquired CDRs of his wife's phone through an advocate by hiring a private sleuth to keep an eye on her contacts and whereabouts.

The police on Friday said Nawazuddin has not responded to police summons in this matter.
