Pakistan’s most gorgeous actress Mahira Khan welcomed Nobel Peace Prize laureate and social activist Malala Yousafzai with sweet words. The actress called her ‘baby girl’ when the activist returned to her land after 6 years.
Malala Yousafzai was honoured with Nobel Prize in December 2014.
Mahira took to Twitter and wrote, “Welcome home baby girl Malala!” The brave girl returned to Pakistan on Thursday for the first time after she was attacked by the Taliban for advocating girl’s right to freedom.
Yousafzai is expected to hold meetings with Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, as well as other prominent figures while in the country.
The girl started her fight for girl’s education very early in her life and she was just 17 when awarded with the Nobel Prize. Malala has been living in the UK ever since the attack in October 2012. She was shifted from Pakistan to a hospital in Birmingham in a precarious condition after she had sustained a bullet in her head in a targeted attack by the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Swat.
