Prince Henry of Wales aka Prince Harry is all set to exchange the wedding-ring with none-other-than Suits actress Meghan Markle by 19th of May 2018 and the whole world is losing calm. The second son of Charles, the Prince of Wales and late Diana, Princess of Wales, Prince Harry has been in a relationship since June 2016 with the British actress, Meghan.
When Harry met Meghan
Last year, it was announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will get engaged in the spring of 2018. Finally, the beautiful time of spring is here and everyone is eager to witness (on-screen/off-screen) this royal wedding ceremony. From a dreamy location to priceless gifts; Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding is nothing short of a Disney's Princess movie. Being a member to the royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan both had to follow a list of protocols which they both are entitled to. Now, you must be getting curious about the royal protocols.
In order to ease your curiosity, here are some of the royal protocols of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding ceremony:
We acknowledge all the perks of being a member to the royal family but the disadvantages. Likewise, hardly anyone knew that a Prince could not just go (like 'lucky' us) and propose to the love of her life. Yes, it is true. In order to propose to Meghan Markle, Prince Harry had to receive permission from the Queen. Similarly, the Queen granted her son, Prince Charles, permission to marry Camilla Parker Bowles in the year 2005.
Westminster Abby Clause
The royal wedding ceremony which is scheduled to take place on 19th of May this year will be at the Westminster Abby, the venue for his Brother Prince William's 2011 ceremony. But there were a lot of questions which aroused related to the venue of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding ceremony as Meghan is Jewish and a divorcee as well. Clearing the air, a spokesperson of Westminster Abbey confirmed that their marriage could take place in one of the world's most famous churches.
Evidently, Prince Harrry and Meghan Markle have a number of options to choose from when it comes to the venue of their reception. But it will be too soon to say that they will receive their reception at the Buckingham Palace. While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed their reception at the Buckingham Palace where the Queen feasted more than 600 royal guests, Pippa didn't celebrate in a royal location, it was more of a personal ceremony at her parents' Berkshire home.
You may not know everything about the royal wedding and reception of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle but after reading this, one thing is for sure that you know some of the most unknown protocols about their wedding. Stay tuned for more lifestyle related updates.
